Making A Brand New Start All Over Again

Currently i'm undergoing a 7 weeks training for my new job which already 2 weeks had gone by with 5 more weeks left!!! Thanks dear for being by my side all this 3 years especially during the difficult periods.Let's work hard together for a good future ahead of us. Dear has been sick for almost a week already & still not fully recovered.Hope u faster recover soon!!Remember what I alway says about the MEN in you office. Just heck care what they say about u if u think what you did was right.God will see it & they will be made to paid for their evildoings in 1 way or another ok? No Point feeling upset with what they say as they are just NOBODY in you life.My brother has also just completed his studies.While awaiting for his National Service enlistment he is currently working for UOB.Hopefully he can will be able to get used to life in the army which is fun but tiring in my opinion.

Gout

Just came back from the doctor & was told maybe it's gout that i'm having.Uric acid to be exact that might be causing this problem.Hopefully it is really as what is suspected by the doctor & not anything else that is even more serious & hopefully the swelling together with the pain will be gone asap!!But i merely told Mum it's just some kind of inflammation as i don't want her to worry about me (so alex if you are reading this....don't spill the beans).

Also from this i learn my lesson that we must watch our diet to prevent ourself from getting into situations like this.I swore that i will watch what i'm eating & start exercising regularly.So lazy of me in the past..Can't even take proper care of myself.Thomas...Ganbatte!!!

In Terrible Pain

Woke up yesterday with slight pain in my right foot big toe.Thought nothing of it & carry on my way to huiting office.When we came back home at night.The pain became more intense to the extend of me unable to sleep the whole night till now.Praying hard that its only a slight sprain & all this pain & swelling is due to me walking nonstop yesterday & it will automatically recover by itself because i'm afraid to go to the doctor as i'm dunno what the doctor will do..scare that it will be very painful.I'm already in terrible pain now so i don't dare to imagine anything more painful than that.Now i'm having problem even walking as i need to limp very very slowly.Tried using icepack to numb the pain but after some time the pain came back again.Its been more than 10 years since i last encounter such pain when i used to sprain my ankle or hand when playing basketball.On a scale of 10 for the pain....i will rate it as 10/10 so you can imagine how painful..terrible & miserable i am now.

Recently i have this urge to own a PSP slim.So i shall slowly work towards owning one!!Lately huiting have been very busy helping me set up a website that sells all our unwanted stuffs.It's almost done up.I'm very happy & thankful to her for all the help that she has given me all this while.3 more days to 3rd year annivesary already!!!I Love You Dear!By the way,Christmas is just around the corner..i think we will be having a small celebration at home with exchange of presents & here's a picture of the christmas tree we set up in our house.Kewl rite!!!

East Coast Park - Let's Go To The Beach!!

As huiting sis & melissa has came back from london for 2 weeks,we decided to bring the kids to east coast park last saturday.It was a very enjoyable but tiring day for us as the 2 kids were very hyperactive.We took quite alot of pictures but i'll only post a handful here that i think are nice & interesting.

Recently huiting developed cravings for braised chicken wings from her workplace.So i had a sudden thought to go learn & make it for her.So we went to her favourite haunt Cold Storage to buy the chicken wings.The chicken wings tasted quite good for a first try!!i would rate it 7.5/10

Have been trying to look for a new blogskin that i like but it's quite hard to hit on something that i fancy but when i finally managed to chose one there's always some kinda error message when i'm trying to change to the new skin.So huiting helped me try to solve this problem.She spend quite sometime to get all this done & i like it alot.Thanks dear!!!

Weird Dream Again

It's been quite a while from my last entry as me & huiting are busy in the middle of something & also there's nothing much interesting going on for me to blog about.After this week me & huiting will be done with the activities we are busy for the past few weeks.And now i shall talk about a dream i just had.

In the dream i was jogging along the road & i saw quite a few accidents on the road at different location.And as i continued jogging,the sky became dark.The way that the sky become dark was kinda scary & spooky to me.It's like you can feel that something bad is going to happen.After the sky became dark.I can't see a thing until the lights came on in a park..Yes...i jogged & jogged to a park.I woke up after the lights in the park came on.Weird dream eh.

Spending A Saturday In Suntec

Yesterday we went to pick belle up & brought her to suntec.We were on our way to the GCA 2007 (Games Convention Asia 2007) where it's a must go for all gamers!!Went there to try out PS3,Nintendo wii,xbox 360 games & also some unlaunched games too!!Too bad we went there too late if not we would have gotten some freebies.But still i enjoyed myself there.Opps i forgot to mention that before we went to GCA we were walking in suntec when we saw alot of people carrying boxes of donuts from donut factory so we thought since we were already here,we can go & get some of it too.I rem my brother queueing 3 1/2 hours for it,well we only queue for about 30mins.We had our dinner at suntec also.Hokkien prawn noodles there is the best i've eaten!!The donuts are quite nice i must say.I shall not type so much & just let my pictures do all the talking.Enjoy the pictures people!!

Helpless

Whenever Huiting goes back to her mum place she will always be very stressed so much that she is starting to dread going back.I would always try to ask her to control her temper when she goes home & just play deaf but i know sometimes the shouting going on in the house is just too much to take.Seeing her breaking down like this is hurting me & i don't know what i can do to help her.I feel so useless when i see my love one having problem or trouble & yet i'm unable to help.I hope that in times to come we can be stable financially & also in our area of work.Hopefully everything changes for the better.Lord bless us.

We Love To Cook

Today i've got the urge to cook our own dinner so i suggest to huiting that we go & buy some stuff in the evening so that we can cook when we get home.Menu for the night was Dang gui herbal soup, luncheon meat & fish.I brewed the soup for 2 1/2 hours while huiting cook the rice did the luncheon meat & the fish.Huiting & me had a great dinner from the dishes we cooked.We saved abit of each for mum to taste when she comes back after work & she says that the fish is not bad can be further improved coz the method we cook the fish is abit wrong but the soup is quite ok.I told huiting that maybe we should brewed herbal soup once every week in future so perhaps we will be doing that bah.

Lifts For The Disabled & People with Difficulties In The Train Stations & Toilets For The Disabled

In recent years,the SMRT installed lifts in all the stations to help the disabled & other people with problem taking the escalator.But nowadays i see alot of people are misusing the lift for convenience.Very often they tend rush over to the lift to jammed up the lift especially during peak hours.Imagine someone who is disabled having to wait for his turn to get into the lift when the lift is build for people like him. I also notice people tend to use the toilet meant for the disabled too just because the other toilet is very crowded.If you're really in need of the toilet or perhaps the toilet cleaner is cleaning the toilet & instruct you to do so then maybe it's ok for benefit of doubt but if you are not,then what if there's someone who is disabled that needs to use the toilet urgently but just becoz you are inside combing your hair or putting on you make up & they have to wait for you.Actually i'm quite disgusted with alot of our own people behaviours.So much so that i would always "suan" those people between me & huiting.Hopefully they will be educated in one way or another during their life journey of the things they do causing harm & inconvenience or whatever to other but instead now it's the other way around.Wonder how will they feel by then.

Nice Console

Just came back from town.Went to cinelsisure Ishop to get ipod nano & saw a nice cool console in the shop.Owning a console has always been a dream of mine although i'm not good with it haha..it looks fun!!!

Workout!!Exercise!!

My cousin just got discharged from tan tock seng hospital today.This has made me decided to make up me mind to start exercising from now on so that my body immune system is able to fight all those nasty germs & viruses!!Hopefully i can maintain the mindset to keep on exercising & don't give up halfway!!

What are these people thinking??

Everytime i take a bus or a train i always tend to see a few weird signs.I shall start from people that are taking the bus.Most of the time you will see the front half of the bus will be full of people standing leaving the later half totally empty.Why can't they just move in all the way instead.They will have to wait till the bus captain to request them to move in only for them to shift their HEAVY legs 1 inch.All this will only make the journey much longer then it should due to having to always constantly asking the passengers to move back.There's always another weird thing i see on the bus.Many time i see people like to sit on the outter seats leaving the other seat empty especially when the bus is full not to mention those who hog 2 seats with their bags.Why can't they just move their heavy ass into the inner seat so that people can seat also.I'm sure people will think then those people standing can just tell the person that he wants to take up the seat.But think again,it's common sense right..if there's an empty seat during a very full trip i'm sure got people want to take the empty seats lo.Don't need to wait till people to tell you.Singapore army already moving into 3rd generation army with thinking soldier & yet the rest of the singaporeans aren't using their brain to think well enough.Some people also tend to cut the queue at the bus interchange when they see a long queue.Come on,peopel queue for so long & when the bus come you want to go up first.Are you in a hurry to get home that's why you cut queue,if so the bus still have to wait till everyone board the bus before it can move lo.If it's the seats you are after,please...i can only say that you are a shame to the country.We are supposed to be a GRACIOUS society.Perhaps we are too well taken care of by the government that is why in resulting in such a human behaviour.Enough of the bus,i shall move on now to the train.Whenever i take train in the morning,while waiting for the train i will always see alot of people stand near the door entrance at the platform.But when the train arrived,the weird thing is that THEY NEVER BOARD THE TRAIN!.I believe they are just waiting for an empty train to come along.So if they are,why can't they just stand by the side so that the rest of the commuters can board the train more smoothly instead of them blocking the entrance as the rest of the commuters might not be able to afford the time like them to wait for a less filled train to arrive.Inside the train alot of people also tend to crowd around the entrance making it very packed.But actually the centre of the train is quite empty.Legs too heavy to be dragged into the centre of the train i supposed.Eating on public transport is also a very major problem especially on the train.People are eating all sorts of stuffs on the train..prawn noodles,hokkien mee..etc..Are we moving in such pace that we got no time to eat & the only free time we are able to eat is during the train journey?Alot of people are also blasting off their mp3 phones in the bus & train.What are going through this people mind when they are blasting their music in public,some even sing along with the music.Are they trying to let people know that they are cool people listening to cool music?By blasting the music so loud itself is already a very uncool thing to do.Whenever i see such people i always think to myself..Wow..you can finally afford to buy a phone that can play mp3s that's why you are feeling so happy & sharing your joy with everyone..good for you!!I think i'll rather be driving when i can afford to in future then be taking the public transport,at least i can have more privacy at the same time maybe i'll start to see less of such weird human behaviour.

Dreams (Do They Mean Anything?)

From young i've always had the same few dreams every now & then.Below are some of my dreams content. Anyone knows whether does all this dreams mean anything at all?

1. I dreamt of a deserted place with a very big urn.It's quite strange for a urn to appear in the middle of nowhere especially they should be in a temple so i walked up to it to take a closer look.To my horror,i saw ALOT of snakes in the urn.
2. I dreamt of a haunted villa.It's actually not the whole villa that is haunted but oni 1 particular room.i can't rem the details of the dream already but recently i dreamt of it again & this time the villa has a family staying there except that the particular room which is haunted is vacant.
3. I dreamt of my tooth falling out.
4. i dreamt of a water fountain.
5. i dreamt that i keep picking up ALOT of coins in the river.
6. I dreamt of my father which pass away 17 years ago.He was like just like us normal human being.He drove a car to pick us up & send us to the airport as my bro was going to study abroad. (I missed my dad alot)
7. I dreamt of my granny who passed away.It was a family gathering where all my relatives were all sitting together talking & i saw my granny in the gathering too.I was thinking to myself,isn't granny not supposed to be around anymore.During the whole dream,she just sit there smiling without saying anything.
8. After US 911 incident,i had a weird dream of singapore being in the same situation.i dreamt that singapore was bombed & there were fires everywhere.It was very scary!!Not long after the dream,singapore authorities actually uncover a plot where terrorist wanted to target us as well & captured the culprits.(Very scary & very real)

Life is so Fragile

Heard from my mum that my cousin was admitted to the hospital last week.So i asked my cousin's sister what actually happened.My cousin passed out in his camp toilet due to excessive loss of blood.The hospital monitor his situation till today then know the cause.It's colon inflammation.It keep passing out thick fresh blood.Now he is having low blood count so they have to keep monitoring his blood count.If things still doesn't improve he will have to go for a operation to cut away the affected part of the colon.Hopefully everything turns out fine for him as he is only 28 juz like me..Tomorrow i'll probably be going to the hospital to visit him.I always feel kinda sad when i see or hear something happened to someone related to me.It kinda makes me depress also.But i guess i have to learn to live with it as all this is the cycle of life.

Spaghetti For Dinner

I have never really tried cooking something decent to eat before.Only the usual stuffs like instant noodles,french fries,chicken wings etc...so i had this sudden urge of eating spaghetti so i told huiting we will be trying to cook spaghetti for dinner tonight.We went to cold storage to get the stuffs needed for the dinner that we will be making tonight.Upon reaching home we started to prepare to cook.Huiting peeled the prawns & cut the hotdogs we bought before cooking it.I prepare the pasta & cook the minced meat with the pasta sauce.The final product....2 plates of mouth watering spaghetti.It was delicious!!Huiting said it's quite stupid to be paying so much for eating spaghetti at some restaurant when we can make it ourself & the taste is still good enough!!It actually stirred up our interest in cooking.I think we will be trying to cook some other food every now & then.Hopefully we won't get too fat from all this experiments.Haha...

Fireworks!!

Last saturday we went to esplanade to view the fireworks display.We reach there around 8.45pm & as i thought it was going to start at 9pm.So we just have to hang around for awhile & the fireworks will be starting soon.But we ended up waiting till around 9.15pm-9.25pm...haiss....all 3 of us mood waited till gone.The fireworks display this year is not as good as the year before.After watching the fireworks display,as the place was VERY CROWDED.We went to bought belle ice cream which we promised her earlier & we waited till she finished the ice cream before we left thinking the crowd might have lessen.But we were wrong!!The crowd on the way back was terrible.Finally we reach home le~~Huiting & belle was very tired after the whole event.Guess next time when planning for events....muz rem not to plan such a tiring one le.

The Search For The Best Bah Chor Mee In Singapore

Had this sudden craving for bah chor mee & it makes me wonder is there any real good bah chor mee in singapore.Personally i've tried eating bedok 85 bah chor mee but to me..the taste is juz ok only.I've also tried the famous bah chor mee at crawford lane which huiting introduced to me.The bah chor mee from that stall is definitely alot nicer den those selling in bedok,but it's also very expensive as the smallest bowl will cost u $4 & the biggest bowl is at $6.BUT....the best bah chor mee i've eaten in my entire life is at amk.3 months back we were staying at my aunt place in amk due to the renovation works in our new house.I will always wake up early to go & eat the bah chor mee near there.I never failed to see ppl queueing at that stall & they usually close at around 1pm,so if you go there too late den sorry..u haf to come another day.I've actualli eaten the bah chor mee from dat stall when i was staying there around 20 years back so till now i still rem about that stall to think that after 20 years..they r still operating there.WOOHOO!!!The thought of the bah chor mee makes me drool!!!Anyone got any other nice bah chor mee outlets can share with me pls lemme noe..BTW if you are also a bah chor mee lover...DIE DIE must try the stall i say at amk huh!!!Believe me,u wun regret it!!!!

I hate the new lifts!!!!

This is the 3rd time we have encountered lift failure in less than 3 months..the 1st & 2nd time happened when we were staying in my aunt flat at ang mo kio when my current new house was under renovation..there was actually a electricity blackout of the whole block the 2nd time lo & it's in the middle of the night!!!Finally we move to our new house!!Juz moved in for slightly over a month & the new lift here is also giving problem!!This new lift started operating only in may..imagine..juz 3-4 months & it's giving problem...worst still...i called the necessary agency only to hear them tell me...it will be up by 8TH AUGUST!!They needed 4 freaking days to fix the lift!!Mum told me today she saw an old uncle waiting for a lift not knowing the lift is spoilt..this kind of people definitely will be having trouble moving around this FOUR days!Imagine how much inconvenience it will caused to the residents staying here..I mean we are paying the upgrading fee...come on...it's not cheap lo & yet we ended up with more inconvenience when it's supposed to be bringing us more convenience....I hope that the town council can do something about this.Meanwhile here's something in advance,HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE ON YOUR 42ND BIRTHDAY!!!

Vivocity

Huiting, me & our baby was at vivocity last week.It was a weekly event for us to bring our baby out.We came across a shop that allows the shoppers to try out playing the nintendo wii so i tried it..IT'S FUN!But i wonder whether the sensor will be spoil in a short period of time or not.After that we to a pet shop over there..woo...the dogs there are really cute!!Throughout the day baby keep asking...where are we going next....where are we going next till huiting is quite annoyed..haha..Here are some of the picts taken on that day.The giantic LG Chocolate phone is made of REAL CHOCOLATE!!muhahaha..wonder how long it will take for one to finished eating a chocolate of that size.We saw a life size transformer at toy r us & it reminds me of the cartoon series i watched when i was young & they now actually bring it to life & made a movie out of it....kewl!!!!After walking around we were hungry & thirsty...so we went to the foodcourt to fill our stomach.After eating i ordered a mango milk ice....not bad....quite nice!!!But the mango ice at AMK hub is still the best although it cost $3.90.Best that i have tasted so far.We went for dinner at carls jr.It was nice but not worth the money.Imagine a burger selling @ $8.I would go back to eat it again provided it's not that expensive.The night ended when baby was tired & i had to carry her on our way home while she slept on my shoulder.I tink she enjoyed it alot...i'm sure we all did!!!

Cyclist

I've always have this thing against cyclist that cycle along the pedestrian walkway.I find it very irritating when i m walking & suddenly there's a cyclist that ring his bell.Come on...my eyes are not at the back of my head...i can't see you like you are able to see me...so y can't you be the one that avoid me...rather then i need to avoid you & let you pass 1st..They are behaving just like the road hogs.Y can't all cyclist just ride on the road...if you're afraid of your safety when riding on the road den don't ride at all...you may say that i'm being prejudice but hello...i used to ride around on my bicycle & i ride them on the road lo..Actually what i'm trying to say is that if you want to ride on the pedestrain walkway...den pls....give way to the pedestrian instead of demanding that you have the right of way...it's not called cyclist path lo..i mean it's very fustrating to walk & keep having to give way to cyclist when they ring the bell..so all the cyclist....PLS....

Steamboat Dinner

Finally got a chance to go ang mo kio for the steamboat buffet after so many weeks.But i wonder whether anyone has such an encounter with the GST stuffs....we ordered 2 drinks which cost us $2.50..dat means 1 drink is $1.25...tis is the 1st time i heard ppl selling drinks at tis kinda weird pricing with $0.05 behind..but nvm...later on...i went to order 1 more drink...it only clost $1.20...which makes me wonder...what is going on...during the later part of the dinner..a small rat was seen running around the coffeeshop...a very skinny rat that is..after running around...it finally stopped & everyone tot it was dead only to realised that it isnt when a ah pek tries to sweep it away with his broom & dustpan..lol...theres actually a cat at the coffeeshop..but huiting says that the cat is full from eating all the steamboat leftovers till it cant be bothered by the existence of the rat..juz in case you're wondering y ting's picture haf such a dreamy effect(Its becoz i forgot to wipe my fone camera lens b4 taking this pict!..haha..*Very full after dinner* & we shared a subway footlong tuna when we reach home...muz start to exercise already if not i will keep on putting weight!!!

New Neighbourhood

It's been 3 weeks since we've move into our new house.Apparently we found that the neighbourhood is abit weird.LOL..For example..my neighbours staying on the left side of my house are very noisy especially their children & there's always different people coming up to their flats everytime & the neighbours staying on our right...their doors are always closed be it whether there's anyone at home or not & also..theres a guy staying in the flat that always come out to the corridor & smoke outside my brother room..which makes me wonder...y can't he smoke at home..y must he smoke at the corridor...if he's afraid to make the house stinks...then he should have the bloody brain to smoke near the stairs instead of outside my bro room & make his room stinks instead.If that's not enuff..i rem waking up at 7am on a sunday..u might ask...y so early on a sunday??BECOZ THERE ARE PEOPLE QUARRELING OPPOSITE MY BLOCK & IT WENT ON FOR 2 HOURS!!!!Almost everynight u can hear a guy shouting nonstop..i managed to find out by chance that the guy shouting might be retarded or something like that...he would always shout at his family members for no reason & i caught him walking around the flat in the nude one day..*yucks* but what i can't stand most are the teenagers hanging around the void deck opposite my block in the middle of the night drinking & singing away loudly & i mean LOUDLY....it's like they are having their own concert..i mean...if u wana sing...go to the ktv n sing by all means..if no money....den too bad...or perhaps hold your concert at an earlier timing rather den start when it's in the middle of the night when people are SLEEPING...i had to call the police to make them stop & i called the police 2 weeks in a row..i tink if tis keep on going...i tink nxt time the police will also noe i m calling dem to report on wad already..But still i'm very happy with the life my family is leading now..we are closer than we used to be..hopefully this place bring us happiness & luck...juz less then 1 month staying here..i won $400 from a $10 singaporepools soccer bet & i also struck 4D starter prize on the day i move in...haha!!!this is my 1st time winning so much from $10 bet & also 1st time winning money from 4D..Luck aside...i hope that my family will always stay happy & healthy!!!!!

2moro gng for an interview for a job...hopefully i got it so that i can start to enrol for my studies...quite excited but at the same time also afraid that i'll be unable to cope having to work n study at the same time..well..if the others can do it..y cant i?New house is almost completely done up except for some minor stuff in the living room..will post picts of the house when everything is done up.That's all for the time being..I'll update the blog as much as i can...when i can....meanwhile...byeeee
